Kendra is a passionate and dedicated Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds both a Bachelor and Master of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson), along with a Minor in Disability Studies. Her Master’s research explored how ableist media affects people with disabilities, reflecting her deep commitment to amplifying marginalized voices.

Kendra is certified in Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Wilfrid Laurier University and has additional training in Solution-Focused Therapy. She brings this specialized knowledge to her everyday work with children, youth, and families facing a wide range of mental, physical, and psychosocial challenges.

With experience in children’s treatment centres and hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area, Kendra works collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams to ensure care is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and family-centred.

As a biracial BIPOC individual living with a disability, Kendra understands firsthand how intersecting identities—like race, ability, socioeconomic status, and culture—shape people’s experiences. She is dedicated to providing highly individualized support that respects each family’s unique context and goals.

She has supported children and youth with developmental and intellectual disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, genetic conditions, behavioural challenges, and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. She is passionate about helping families navigate complex systems, access vital resources, and feel empowered every step of the way.

Above all, Kendra believes that the goals and voices of children and their families should guide the therapy process, ensuring meaningful and lasting outcomes.
